Go Deep for Navaho Princess

Welcome to the newest and greatest fantasy football league ever to be created by 3 commissioners in Redmond Oregon at a pub, without one of the commissioners at the pub. This document will serve as our declaration of independence, laying out the laws we shall all abide by. This will be a living document that can only be updated when a commissioner feels like it.

This will be a three commissioner league to ensure the most democratic and fair league ever seen on this planet. We are strong believers in the concept that power corrupts, and absolute power is kinda boring after awhile.

This is a keeper league and will utilize FAAB (Free Agent Acquisition Budget) for all waiver pickups. You will be able to keep 4 players from your roster going into the following year.

One key factor in this league is we are not afraid to punish the peasants. We are introducing the Wheel of Doom. It’s as bad as it sounds.

Draft Rules

Each year your draft position will change by +7. So 1st round becomes 8th, 7th round becomes 4th, etc.

Keeper Rules

Up to four players can be kept each year as keepers. If you keep players, you will give up the draft pick of where you drafted them in the previous year.

All players picked up on waivers can be kept at their ADP of the current year. ADP values will be locked a week before keepers must be selected.

In the event you have two players that share a draft rounds, you can keep. You will give up the draft round of the players and the draft round below. Additionally, you will be required to give up some of your season’s FAB money based on the round of the players. For example, if you have two second round picks you will lose your second and third round picks, and you will lose 20 of the 100 FAB dollars for player acquisition.

The cost for keeping additional players in the same round are as follows:

1st round - 25 fab
2nd round - 20 fab
3rd round - 15 fab
4th round - 10 fab
5th round and beyond - 5 fab

Keepers can be kept at the value they were drafted the following season, but the draft round will be halved the year after. So if someone drafts a player in the 6th round in 2018, they can count towards a 6th round pick in 2019. In 2020 they will count for a 3rd round pick. If the draft number is an odd number, the value is rounded to the lower draft pick. So a 3rd round pick would be a 2nd round pick the following year.

Offseason Trading

Teams keep their full rosters and can trade all players and draft picks up to the point of choosing keepers.

The Wheel of Dooooooooooooom

At the conclusion of the year, the person with the worst regular season record will have to spin the wheel of doom to find out their punishment.
